1. ABOUT THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how A Stanley Ventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information collected through the Steadway website.

Steadway is a product being developed by A Stanley Ventures. This policy currently applies only to the website, the Contact Us form, and the early-access application form. It will be revised before the Steadway product begins collecting customer or operational business data.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY

We collect information that you choose to provide through the website.

The Contact Us form may collect your:

  • first and last name;

  • email address; and

  • message.

We use this information to receive, review, and respond to your inquiry and to manage related follow-up.

The early-access application may collect your:

  • first name and email address;

  • company name;

  • business type or role;

  • information about the day-to-day operational challenges affecting your business; and

  • interest in being considered for early access.

We use this information to review the application, assess possible fit for research or early access, request clarification when needed, and contact you about the application.

Wix may also automatically collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as an Internet Protocol address, browser or device information, pages viewed, session information, cookies, and security or diagnostic records.

Please do not submit passwords, payment information, government identification numbers, health information, confidential customer information, or other sensitive information through these forms.

3. CONSENT AND COMMUNICATIONS

By voluntarily submitting a form, you consent to our use of the information for the purpose explained on the form and in this policy.

Submitting the Contact Us form or an early-access application does not subscribe you to a general marketing, newsletter, or promotional email list.

We may email you to respond to your message, discuss your application, request clarification, provide information you asked for, or communicate about research or early-access participation connected to your application.

4. WIX, GOOGLE, AND PROCESSING OUTSIDE CANADA

The website is hosted on Wix. Information submitted through Wix forms may be stored or processed through Wix forms, submissions, contact-management, database, security, and related platform services.

Form notifications and email correspondence may also be processed or stored through Google Gmail.

Wix, Google, and their service providers may process or store information outside Canada. Information handled in another country may be subject to that country’s laws and lawful-access requirements.

5. SHARING, SAFEGUARDS, AND RETENTION

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may share information with Wix, Google, or another service provider only as reasonably necessary to operate the website, manage forms and communications, maintain security, obtain professional advice, or comply with applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect personal information. No website, email system, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, review an application, maintain appropriate records, address a privacy or security concern, or meet a legal requirement. Information that is no longer reasonably required will be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of.

6. COOKIES

Wix may use cookies and similar technologies needed to operate, secure, display, and maintain the website. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly.

If we later add non-essential analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking tools, we will review this policy and add any required notice or consent controls before intentionally using them.

7. YOUR CHOICES AND CONTACT INFORMATION

You may contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, withdraw or change consent where applicable, request deletion of information that is no longer required, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law.

We may update this policy when the website, forms, service providers, or information practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
